Motovario Electric Motors
Introduction
Since 1965, the Italian-based
Motovario Corporation has been a world-leader in the
development and production of constant speed drives and
reducers for the power transmission industry. Today the
company manufactures a wide range of products in IEC and
NEMA configurations including mechanical speed variators, helical
and helical bevel gear reducers, worm gear reducers and
electric motors.
Motovario Electric Motors
Motovario offers an extensive range
of electric motors including three-phase and
single-phase electric motors certified to CE, UL and CSA
standards and designed in accordance with IEC 34 and EEC
harmonized standards.
They
offer efficient and cost effective solutions for
transmission systems running on AC electrical supply.
General Features and Benefits
All motors feature enclosed housings with fan cooled ventilation and die-cast aluminum or aluminum alloy casings and cage rotors. All have insulation ratings of Class F (or H) and protection degree ratings of IP 55, 56, 65 or 66. Standardized height to centre and dimensions from 63 to 160 are available in powers from 0.09 to 11kW. IEC and NEMA frame configurations are available. Motors are dual frequency capable, operating at 230 / 400 V at 50Hz and 230/460 V at 60Hz. Also ask about self-braking and high starting torque variations and optional flanges and accessories available for certain models.
